As a young man, he entered the Seminary of the Society of St. Paul in Cinisello Balsamo (MI). He earned a Licentiate in Liturgical Theology from the Pontifical Institute of St. Anselm in Rome and was ordained a priest in 1972 in Brescia, before being incardinated in Rome in 1983. He entered the Neocatechumenal Way, carrying out his ministry as an itinerant priest: nine years in Scandinavia, three years in Bolivia, and five years in Uganda. \u003cbr\u003eHe then continued his ministry in Rome as Prefect of Studies at the Redemptoris Mater Seminary for 19 years. \u003cbr\u003eSince 2014, he is the Ecclesiastical Consultant for the Neocatechumenal Way.
